About Francesca Weems
Francesca Weems is a dynamic storyteller, award-winning communicator, and global speaker who brings authenticity, purpose, and impact to every stage she steps on. With a background that spans broadcast journalism, global public relations, and executive thought leadership, Francesca has built her career amplifying underrepresented voices and helping some of the world’s most influential brands lead with intention.

A former Division I athlete and proud UC Berkeley alum, Francesca’s journey from foster care and homelessness to the boardroom is as inspiring as it is powerful. She is currently a senior vice president at a top global communications firm, where she advises C-suite leaders, builds inclusive brand narratives, and leads a team dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion through meaningful media engagement. Francesca has spoken at Cannes Lions, the World Economic Forum, and other global forums, sharing insights on equity, purpose-driven storytelling, and building platforms for the next generation of changemakers.

She is also the author of the forthcoming memoir—a raw and uplifting story described as the “track star version of The Pursuit of Happyness.” Francesca is now focused on inspiring others by turning her lived experience into a movement—bridging the worlds of corporate leadership, cultural strategy, and social impact to create pathways for others to thrive.

When she’s not writing or speaking, you’ll find Francesca mentoring young leaders, championing foster youth, or leading high-impact conversations with today’s most influential voices in business, politics, and pop culture.
